hey, i’m Katie.
I’m a therapist based out of Kingston, NY and I help anxious, childfree women rebuild when life turns upside down after a sudden trauma, change, or loss.
When everything falls apart (and it truly does), it can feel like you’re lost in fog and chaos, trying to find solid ground again.
But on the other side of that upheaval, there’s also something quietly powerful: a chance to rebuild.
A clean slate. A moment to ask yourself how you actually want your life to look in ‘the after’.
For me, that turning point came after an apartment fire in 2020. Since then, I’ve honed my therapeutic approach to help others move through that same disorienting darkness: to process what happened, make sense of what was lost, and grow into what comes next.
My work focuses on guiding people through post-traumatic growth: reimagining the life you want, healing from both the recent trauma (and the old ones it stirred up), and rebuilding a foundation that finally feels solid – and yours.

how I work:
-
You’ve held it together long enough. We start by helping you actually exhale — calming your nervous system so you can think, feel, and breathe again. Weekly therapy sessions are the perfect container to let yourself safely and consistently slow down with intention.
Depending on the recent trauma/change, EMDR might be a great options for this stage of work.
-
Together we’ll explore the parts of you that hustle, protect, or overthink — and the parts that are just fucking tired. What do you want your life in the “after” to look and feel like? When each part is heard and understood, the chaos inside starts to quiet and the picture of the future (on your terms) comes into focus.
-
Once things steady, we focus on GROWTH — rebuilding your foundation and creating a life that finally fits:
Less control, more trust
Less anxiety, more clarity
A life that feels really fucking good.
I currently have a few openings available via telehealth for anyone located in New York or New Jersey. Call me today!*
*who am I kidding— as a true elder millenial, calling is not the best way to get in touch: text, email, or online scheduling is best. But if you prefer a phone call, no worries- leave a message and I’ll get back to you.
